The panchromatic images, wide-area color medium-resolution images and multi-spectral information including the pre-selected landing area better than 1m resolution were obtained. After landing on Mars, the Mars orbiter detects the real landing area and the rover patrol area to obtain high-resolution images.

After entering the remote sensing mission orbit, the Mars orbiter completed the Mars global remote sensing mission and obtained medium resolution image data covering the whole planet of Mars. Using these image data, Chinese researchers are currently drawing international advanced high-resolution color global images of Mars. During the ring fire expansion mission, the Mars orbiter carried out Phobos imaging exploration, obtaining China's first Phobos image.
