According to reports, the full power consumption of the Nvidia RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 notebook GPU is 150W + 25W dynamic power consumption, and the tested game is Shadow Samurai 3 with 1440p resolution.

According to the test results of foreign media, the performance of RTX 4080 under 150W GPU power consumption is the same as that of RTX 4090 under 125W. The performance levels of RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 increase almost in parallel in the range of 80W to 150W power consumption. Before reaching the highest power consumption, the RTX 4080 can reach the RTX 4090 level by increasing its power consumption by about 20W.

The first batch of RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 games are flagship models that basically achieve full power performance, so it is unlikely that the RTX 4080 model will have higher power consumption than the RTX 4090 model.
