Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com February 11 news, LastPass December 22 last year released a report that last November was attacked by the network. According to the latest report from foreign technology media Follow the Money, the attack dates back several months and the attackers obtained passwords from 30 million users and 85,000 companies from LastPass.

"This is probably one of the most valuable stolen databases ever," FTM noted in the report. The database involves millions of users, and each user typically stores dozens of passwords."

LastPass has reported four times in the past year, and the problems revealed in the reports have become more serious. CTOnews.com reviews these reports as follows:

CEO Karim Toubba said in August that a hacker gained access to the company's development space through an employee's account. Tuba said the hacker's activity was "limited" and LastPass customers didn't have to worry or take any action.

LastPass reported again in mid-September last year that an internal investigation revealed hackers had access to its systems for four days without doing anything serious.

LastPass again reported a cyberattack in late November, when hackers accessed "certain elements of customer information." But LastPass insists there is no reason to worry.

LastPass announced Dec. 22, three days before Christmas, that hackers had stolen names, addresses, emails, phone numbers and other information.

LastPass insists, however, that there are no major issues to worry about. As long as customers have a good master password, their passwords are secure, the company says. LastPass said it would take millions of years to crack a 12-character password using "universally available technology."
