Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com February 11 news, 3D printing (3DP) is a kind of rapid prototyping technology, also known as incremental manufacturing. It is a technology which is based on digital model files and uses gluable materials such as powdered metal or plastic to construct objects by printing layer by layer.

3D printing is usually realized by digital material printers and is used in jewelry, footwear, industrial design, architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), automobiles, aerospace, dental and medical industries, education, geographic information systems, civil engineering, guns and other fields.

However, at present, most 3D printers are relatively large, and commercial products such as the Ender 2 Pro have a suitable size of 421 x 383 x 465mm and weigh 4.5kg.

However, one manufacturer is trying to break that line by showing on YouTube a 3D printer that can output clear prints but measures only 18 x 31 x 41 mm and weighs only 17 grams. This is the smallest model CTOnews.com has ever seen or heard of, and its inventor claims it is the smallest 3D printer in the world.

YouTuber @ My N Mi shows the actual operation of this miniature 3D printer, which can complete a miniature, translucent green robot model in just a few minutes.

From the demo video, the miniature 3D printer appears to be made of wood and plastic, with a motor at the bottom that moves the positioning board up and down, and then uses an invisible LED original to print light on resin material in a small slot.

This is how the SLA 3D printer works, and it needs to transmit data through the micro USB interface on the back of it.

According to My N Mi, their printers can create objects with a volume of 11 x 11 x 17mm, a precision of 0.135mm and a layer resolution of 0.005 to 0.3mm.

As shown in the image below, My N Mi takes out the printout of the robot model and places it in the light after printing. We can see the various details drawn by this 3D printer.
