Over the past six years, each additional employee has more than doubled the company's revenue, according to Bloomberg.

Back in 2017-2019, Apple earned $1.17 million for each additional employee, the same as Alphabet and Microsoft.

Then from 2020 to 2022, that number more than doubled to $2.51 million, as it increased profits while being more cautious about hiring. At the same time, most major technology companies have seen the index decline or barely grow.

Apple's strong foundation business and efficiency are, of course, a key part of the amazing revenue growth for each additional employee. But combining ultra-high-margin businesses with much lower growth in hiring over the past few years is why these indicators stand out from other tech giants.
