CTOnews.com announced on February 10 that NIO Power signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Expressway Energy Development Co., Ltd., relying on 78 pairs of service areas under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu High Energy, to jointly carry out the construction of high-speed recharging facilities to provide users with a more convenient high-speed power-up experience.

Jiangsu Expressway Energy Development Co., Ltd. is an expressway energy management enterprise jointly established by Jiangsu Traffic Holdings Co., Ltd., Sinopec sales Co., Ltd., and PetroChina Natural Gas Co., Ltd., and is a comprehensive energy service provider of expressways. A total of 78 pairs of expressways and cross-river bridges are responsible for the operation and management of energy services in the service area.

Since 2018, the two sides have started to cooperate to build more than 20 charging stations in the service areas along the G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, G30 Lianhuo Expressway and G15 Shenhai Expressway in Jiangsu Province. These sites facilitate high-speed travel of users across Jiangsu Province and enhance the high-speed replenishment experience of the entire Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.

So far, Weilai has successively reached strategic cooperation with the relevant highway management departments of Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, which will bring a more intensive high-speed recharging network for the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. CTOnews.com has learned that so far, 1313 power stations have been arranged in the country, of which 348 are expressways, and the layout of the high-speed power exchange network of 8 major urban agglomerations with 5 vertical and 3 horizontal has been completed.

There are 1243 overcharging stations, 6309 overcharging piles, 1084 destination charging stations, 7365 destination charging piles, and access to more than 630000 third party charging piles.
