CTOnews.com February 10 news, Indian local manufacturer Lava launched Blaze 5G mobile phone last year, when it was the cheapest 5G smartphone in the country, equipped with 4GB memory. Now the company has revealed it will launch a more powerful version.

The new Lava Blaze 5G phone will be equipped with 6GB of memory and will be priced at 11499 Indian rupees (currently about 945 yuan) in the early stage, which will rise to 11999 Indian rupees (currently about 986 yuan).

CTOnews.com learned that the Lava Blaze 5G phone features a 6.5-inch LCD drop screen, supports 720p resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a built-in Tianji 700 chip, supports additional "virtual memory" expansion, and the storage space is UFS 2.2 128GB. It also has a built-in 5000mAh battery and a 50MP main camera.

Lava phones support 5G, but that doesn't mean Indian users can use it. Carrier Jio is still developing its next-generation network in 100 major cities, while Airtel is deploying in "key cities and locations." Both operators have pledged to offer wider coverage of 5G networks by the end of 2023.
