CTOnews.com Feb. 10-YouTube channel Techtesters compares two graphics cards priced under $250 in its latest video: Intel Arc A750 and AMD RX 6600 non-XT. These two graphics cards are not flagship graphics cards, but they are good choices for most players.

Intel recently lowered the price of the Arc A750 to $249. CTOnews.com shares the graphics card specifications as follows: Arc A750 uses Intel's best Alchemist ACM-G10 GPU, but reduces 32 available Xe cores to 28.

Both graphics cards in this comparison offer a similar number of GPU cores (Radeon has 28 compute units), but Arc has more FP32 cores (3584 vs. 1792).

In addition, both GPUs have the same 8 GB GDDR6 memory capacity, but Arc has a higher memory bus width, twice that of Radeon.

Overall, the Intel A750 scored higher, but the A750 had only one major drawback: a TBP of 225W, much higher than the RX 6600's 132W.

YouTube hosts compared two graphics cards at 1080P and 1440P resolutions, with game settings of High or Ultra.

At 1080p resolution, the A750 Limited Edition is on average 3% slower than Giga-based Radeon RX 6600 (not overclocked), but Arc shows the advantage of higher memory bandwidth at 1440p resolution, with an average lead of 9%. In gaming tests, the Intel A750 consumed 167W, compared to 121W for the RX 6600. However, Arc still has a problem, idle power consumption up to 35W, almost nine times the Radeon.
