According to the latest tweet released by Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's vice president of enterprise and chief marketing officer of the consumer sector, more than 1 million people have applied to join the new Bing within 48 hours of its launch.

In addition, global downloads of Bing apps soared tenfold overnight, according to data.ai analysis. That makes the app the tenth most popular free app on Apple's App Store list, making it the second most popular free productivity app after Gmail. Its iOS version of Edge browser also ranks third among utility applications.
