Huawei is exploring the next generation HUD head-up display technology, continuing in-depth research on holographic optical elements (Holographic Optical Elements;HOE), optical waveguides, naked-eye 3D and other related fields, and has made phased progress.

In addition, Huawei intelligent car lighting solution can achieve fine lighting with the ability of 2.6 million pixels and double lights fusion algorithm. At the same time, the scheme has accurate ADB anti-glare function to ensure that the far light does not interfere with other traffic participants, but also to achieve width, driving and other scenes.

Huawei also said it would release new in-car display products this year to bring high-definition private cinemas into the "third living space" and enhance the in-car viewing experience.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, research firm Omdia released a report saying that the introduction of head-up display (HUD) into the automotive industry is growing rapidly, but it is still mainly limited to some high-end models. HUD shipments are expected to reach 6 million in 2022, an annual YoY growth of 7 per cent.
