CTOnews.com, February 9 (Xinhua)-- Google today released the first developer preview version of Android 14. In this preview version, Google provides a feature called "Clone App", that is, users can copy an app and make the app open.

At present, some domestic Android systems already support the double-open feature of apps. In Android 14 developer Preview 1, Google is also providing an official cloning app feature, which users can use in the new "cloned applications" menu (see figure below). Select the Android app you want to copy.

It is worth noting that not all apps can be cloned, and Google and other manufacturers of Android 14 devices can specify apps that are not allowed to be cloned. CTOnews.com found that in the case of Pixel phones, Google will prevent many of its own apps from being cloned, including media apps such as YouTube and YouTube Music, as follows:
