Both the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models have an hour longer battery life than the previous generation, with the 14-inch model increasing from 17 to 18 hours and the 16-inch model from 21 hours to 22 hours. For comparison, the M1 and M2 MacBook Air both offer 18 hours of battery life, while the 13-inch MacBook Pro offers 20 hours of battery life.
