In 2021, the braking system of CAB-B locomotive was installed in the first hydrogen fuel cell hybrid locomotive in China. In the past two years, the braking system of CAB-B locomotive has withstood the test of rain, snow, wind and frost, as well as the test of low temperature and high temperature. The escorted locomotive has safely and reliably run more than 20000 kilometers on the Jinbai railway line.

The installation of hydrogen fuel cell hybrid locomotives is also a new breakthrough in the new locomotive market following the successful loading and application of CRRC CAB-B motor braking system in "Harmony" and "Fuxing" series locomotives.
