CTOnews.com February 8 news, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. today released January 2023 production and sales figures KuaiBao, January sales of 345 new energy vehicles, down 74% from the same period last year.

According to KuaiBao, Dongfeng Motor sold a total of 5468 vehicles in January, compared with 17180 in the same period last year, down 68.17% from the same period last year. Sales of new energy vehicles in January were 345, compared with 1351 in the same period last year, down 74 per cent from a year earlier.

In addition, Dongfeng Cummins sold 12750 engines in January, compared with 15204 in the same period last year, down 16.14% from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com found that Dongfeng Motor's current sales statistics come only from commercial vehicles, including light vans, passenger cars and incomplete passenger vehicles, while sales of basic passenger vehicles are zero.

Dongfeng's Lantu car delivered a total of 1548 new cars in January, down 10.5% from the previous month, and the average transaction price exceeded 382000 yuan.
