CTOnews.com, February 8 (Xinhua)-- according to the Wall Street Journal, an internal notice to the relevant team of Meta shows that the company will revamp the fledgling Horizon Worlds metamosmos app, hoping to attract more teenagers and young users after improving the design of the app.

This internal notice is called "Horizon goals and Strategies for 2023 (Horizon 2023 Goals and Strategy)". The notice says the new strategy includes opening up Horizon to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17.

Currently, the app is only available to users aged 18 and above. A teenage version of Horizon could be launched as soon as March this year, according to people familiar with the matter.

In this internal notice, Gabriel Aul, vice president of Horizon business at Meta, set out the team's goal for the first half of this year, and the top priority is to increase the retention rate of users, especially among teenagers and young adults.

CTOnews.com learned that Aul said that in many ways, these age groups will become true digital citizens of meta-universe, growing up seamlessly interacting with technology and connecting remotely with others.
