CTOnews.com February 7 news, mechanics on a new KT68 Pro mechanical keyboard, tonight on the Kickstarter platform to open crowdfunding.

The keyboard uses the latest Gadalong North Pole 2.0 axis (tea axis/yellow axis), silent silicone pads, no sound when typing quickly, and a simplified 68-key layout design that saves desktop space and is easy to carry.

The cover, keycap and shaft of the Mechanic KT68 Pro are all made of transparent materials, which can better display RGB lights, provide more than 20 different RGB light effects, and support audio visualization tools.

The Mechanic KT68 Pro keyboard has a smart screen at the top consisting of 325 LEDs. It has two modes, light effects mode and screen mode. Screen mode displays information such as network speed, time, computer memory, etc.

In addition, the keyboard uses drivers independently developed by mechanics, allowing users to give full play to their autonomy and freely create dynamic lighting effects, sharing, custom macros and import/export lighting effects.

The Mechanic KT68 Pro is compatible with most mechanical keyboards and supports use with 3/5-pin shafts. All keys are hot-swappable, and users can personalize the keys.

The Mechanic KT68 Pro comes with dials and knobs on the side that allow users to adjust volume, activate mute, return to the device's home screen, switch between apps, and other quick settings.

In terms of connectivity, Mechanic KT68 Pro supports three-mode wired/wireless connection, compatible with Windows / iOS / macOS / Android system, has 4000mAh battery, and is equipped with Type-C interface.

For the rest, the keyboard has black and white colors, and the crowdfunding price starts at HK $1404/US $179 (currently about RMB 1214).

As of CTOnews.com, the Mechanic KT68 Pro keyboard has 33 supporters, has reached its crowdfunding goal, and is expected to ship in April 2023.
