Officials say Shima's latest product, 50mm F1.4 DG DN (Art), is a large-aperture standard lens designed for full-frame non-reflective cameras. The lens achieves a high degree of compatibility between the compact size and high-speed autofocus required by today's mirrorless systems, while maintaining excellent optical performance.

In terms of parameters, this lens is based on Sima's latest optical technology and integrates 11 sets of 14 lenses, including 3 aspherical lenses and 1 SLD special low dispersion lens, which can effectively suppress a variety of aberrations, such as astigmatism and image field bending that cannot be corrected in the camera. When the aperture is fully open, the image quality of the image edge is still guaranteed, and the sagittal aberration is minimized, which allows the lens to challenge even harsh point light sources such as starry sky and night. The closest focus distance of the lens is 45cm, L-bayonet and E-bayonet are supported, and filter size is 72mm.

Shima said that the new SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG DN (Art) is the first full-frame non-reflective lens in the Art series using "HLA" (high-speed linear motor). A single double-sided aspheric lens is used as a focusing lens, and even a large aperture lens can provide fast and quiet focusing and high-speed tracking focusing ability. Thanks to its maximum aperture and high-performance autofocus system, the lens can be used in a variety of shooting situations, including in low-light environments, shooting moving objects, snapping and even video.
