CTOnews.com, February 7, according to China Shipbuilding Group, recently, the first domestic liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship-to-ship filling system was completed at Yantian Port in Shenzhen. ▲ figure source Chinese ship Jerry LNG ship-to-ship filling system is located on the platform of the bow filling station, installed on the starboard and starboard sides, with a designed filling capacity of 1650 cubic meters per hour, mainly including emergency release device, fast connection device, cryogenic hose, ship distance detection device, saddle and fall prevention system, etc., which can realize the safe and rapid filling of LNG between ships. It has the characteristics of large filling flow, high safety and reliability, strong environmental adaptability and so on.

China Shipbuilding Group said that as the first domestic equipment to realize real ship application in China, Jerry LNG ship-to-ship filling system successfully broke the foreign technology monopoly, and the whole system realized "localization of core components + independent control of core technology" for the first time, which enhanced the domestic supporting capacity of China's maritime LNG industry chain.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, China has also made a new breakthrough in the replacement of LNG fuel tanks. The first 40-foot replaceable LNG fuel tanks developed by CRRC sailed out of the wharf of Xuzhou Port, carrying two 5000-ton liquefied natural gas (LNG) power container ships "Hongyuan-Xuzhou" and "Hongyuan-Wuhan". The move opened the curtain on the commercial operation of China's replaceable marine LNG fuel tanks for the first time.
