Earnings for the quarter were $153.4 million ($144.6 million in the same period last year), while net income rose to $1.41 billion in the third quarter ($900 million in the same period last year), according to analysts' expectations of $1.46 billion.

According to Take-Two, it failed to meet expectations because of its poor quarterly sales performance, including Marvel's son of the Dark Night, the Legend of the New No Land and the PGA Tour 2K23, but not the "GTA" series.

Take-Two revealed in its financial report that the "Grand Theft Auto" series has sold more than 395 million copies, of which "GTA5", which no one wants to buy but has been bought all the time, has sold more than 175 million copies, ranking third among all platforms in the United States in 2022 and ranking in the top five of NPD for the 10th year in a row, and the series has increased by at least 1000 million copies compared with the last quarter.

In addition, another Take-Two masterpiece, the Wild Dart: redemption 2, has so far sold more than 5000 million copies, an increase of 4 million copies from last quarter's earnings report. Officials also say the Wild Dart: redemption 2 is the second best-selling game in the United States in the past five years.

As for the previous "GTA6" leak, T2 CEO Strauss Zelnik (Strauss Zelnick) said they were not worried that the leak might affect game development, but he also admitted that the "GTA6" leak was still a bit of a blow to the production team.

"We did take the leak very seriously," Zelnik said. "the accident caught all of us off guard and really frustrated and upset the team."

Reservation: $1.38 billion. Year-on-year growth of 60%, lower than the expected $1.41 billion to $1.46 billion.

Net loss: $153 million. Net profit for the same period last year was $144 million.

Forecast: full-year GAAP revenue: $5.24 billion to $5.29 billion (previously $5.4 billion to $5.51 billion)

Full-year GAAP net loss: $704 million to $721 million (previously $631 million to $674 million)
