("FAW") to jointly develop an intelligent cockpit platform based on the chip "Yijia No.1".

The smart cockpit is scheduled for mass production by the end of 2023 and is expected to be carried on China's FAW model.

FAW of China will build the next generation intelligent cockpit with Yijiatong Technology (hereinafter referred to as "the platform", engineering code: E04), which is embedded in the core engine technology 7nm specification-grade chip "Yijiatong No. 1", and will be carried in the FAW brand models of China.

This platform is the first Yigatong technology self-developed hardware computing module based on the chip "Yijia No.1", and integrates the global vehicle operating system and software stack, and plans to achieve mass production by the end of 2023. The platform can also support the Android Automotive and GAS-based Google ecological service experience for the global market, which will bring high-performance intelligent cockpit solutions to vehicle enterprises.

CTOnews.com, a self-developed hardware computing module of ▲ technology based on the 7nm-1 chip, has learned that the SoC chip is a gauge-level cockpit system-level AI chip designed by the 7nm process, with 8.8 billion transistors, which meets the requirements of high performance, high reliability and high security for the specification-level hardware.

It is designed with multi-core heterogeneous architecture, with 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU and independent NPU with 8 TOPS AI computing power. At the same time, the audio and video processing capability can support up to 7 high-definition picture output and 12-channel video signal access, and is the first in the industry to be equipped with dual HiFi 5 DSP processors.

There are also independent functional security islands and information security islands built in to meet the ASIL-B level of system security functions. Different processor clusters independently serve different functional domains.

At the same time, the platform takes the lead in adopting LPDDR5 high-speed memory module in the intelligent cockpit field, which greatly improves the processing speed.
