CTOnews.com learned that when asked about her reaction to the school's ban on ChatGPT, Murati said that when they developed such technologies, the goal was general intelligence and general capabilities with high reliability. " But when you open it to as many people with as many different backgrounds and areas of expertise as possible, you will be surprised at what they do with the technology, both positive and negative, "she explains.

Murati added that it is necessary to regulate artificial intelligence (AI) because she believes it may be abused or used by bad actors. While it is important for OpenAI and other similar companies to introduce such technologies to the public in a controlled and responsible manner, they need the help of regulators, policy makers and governments to ensure that artificial intelligence is used correctly, she added.
