CTOnews.com, February 5, MemTest86 Plus is a popular memory testing software (not PassMark's MemTest86), which finally has secure startup Secure Boot support in the latest version 6.10.

Microsoft made Secure Boot a mandatory system requirement for Windows 11. Previously, a "Secure Boot Violation violation" message was displayed when a user tried to run MemTest86 Plus on an Secure Boot-enabled PC.

The developers of MemTest86 Plus said:

The MemTest86 Plus binaries are not signed by Microsoft, so users need to temporarily disable Secure Boot in the BIOS option. We are working on a better solution.
