CTOnews.com, February 5 (Xinhua)-- Taiwan Telecom, a major manufacturer of power management and heat dissipation solutions, announced that flexible working hours will be implemented on a trial basis from April 1, after a monthly increase of NT $5000 (currently about 1130 yuan) in maternity subsidy in October 2022. Flexible working hours are from 7:30 to 9:30.

Delta Electric said that sympathizing with employees' commuting traffic jams, flexible commuting allows employees to flexibly control their personal time schedule and use their time more effectively to improve their work efficiency.

Delta Electric has also promoted a "child care allowance" in Taiwan since October 2022, with a subsidy of up to NT $380000 (currently about 85880 yuan) per child to help employees start a family, ease the pressure of parenting, and promote work-life balance.

CTOnews.com learned that behind Delta's high benefits is the continuous rise in performance. In September 2022, the company consolidated revenue of 36.925 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 8.345 billion yuan), an increase of 5 percent from the previous month and 35 percent year-on-year. Revenue exceeded NT $100 billion for the first time in the third quarter, reaching 106.248 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 24.012 billion yuan), an increase of 18 percent month-on-month, setting a record for the second consecutive quarter.

Delta's revenue in the first three quarters of 2022 totaled NT $278.783 billion (currently about 63.005 billion yuan), up 21% from a year earlier.

In addition, Delta Electric has been selected into the Dow Jones Sustainability Index "World Index" for 12 years in a row, and its overall ESG score has been the highest in the global electronic equipment industry for the seventh time in a row for five consecutive years.
