The results showed that the electrified business and high value-added products contributed to the rise in performance. Hyundai Mobis's sales rose 25% in 2022 to 51.9 trillion won (currently about 284.412 billion yuan), breaking the 50 trillion won mark for the first time.

In addition, Hyundai Mobis's full-year operating profit in 2022 was 2.3 trillion won (currently about 12.604 billion yuan), up 5.3% from a year earlier, while net profit was 2.5 trillion won (currently about 13.7 billion yuan), roughly the same as the previous year.

CTOnews.com learned that Hyundai Mobis said that in addition to supplying Hyundai Kia, Mobis is also actively opening up customers of non-Korean brand mainframe factories. After Mobius' other global customer sales broke through the $1 billion (currently about 6.77 billion yuan) mark for the first time in 2016, it reached $2.5 billion (currently about 16.925 billion yuan) in 2021.

According to reports, last year, Mobis achieved sales of 4.7 billion US dollars (currently about 31.819 billion yuan) in overseas markets outside South Korea. This is the highest since Mobis officially entered overseas markets in 2000, not only exceeding the sales target set at the beginning of the year, but also nearly tripling from 2021. This year, Hyundai Mobis has set a sales target of $5.36 billion (currently about 36.287 billion yuan) based on a global production base and a special marketing plan.

New business orders in China reached $907 million (currently about 6.14 billion yuan), an increase of 37.5%, according to Hyundai Mobis. Orders for electric products come mainly from Chinese self-branded carmakers, and Mobis expects orders in China to continue to grow in 2023.
