It's worth mentioning that if you need more cores and caching, you should wait for Dragon Range products like AMD Ryzen 7045, which will provide 16 cores of 32 threads and better caching performance.

The Ryzen 7 7840HS retains the same 35-54W TDP design as other Phoenix processors, but the performance is impressive, and the APU is expected to arrive later this quarter, when there should be plenty of laptops to choose from.
