CTOnews.com February 4 news, in the Galaxy Unpacked conference held a few days ago, Samsung announced that it is developing XR (extended reality) head display device. Samsung said it was working with Qualcomm and Google to create the headline, but officials did not disclose the official name or release date.

Dutch technology media Galaxy Club shared the battery model for this head display in advance. They found a battery with the product code EB-BI120ABY on Safety Korea.

CTOnews.com learned that this is not the first time Samsung's i120 battery has appeared. as early as last year, it was reported that Samsung was developing a new augmented reality (AR) / hybrid reality (MR) head display device with the model "SM-I120". And this battery model matches the head display model.

The size of the battery currently exposed is 45 x 45 mm, but the exact capacity is not clear.

At the launch, Samsung did not mention whether any specific products were under development, nor did it provide a timetable for any upcoming hybrid reality products or services. TM Roh, president of Samsung's mobile division, said: "this is more like a declarative announcement of how we will correctly strive to build the XR ecosystem."
