As the "heart" of the traction power supply system of the high-speed railway, the traction substation introduces the 220kV power from the local power grid and transmits the 27.5kV special voltage to the catenary through the traction transformer to supply power for the high-speed train.

According to reports, the Chihuang high-speed railway is an important part of the Wuhan-Hangzhou high-speed railway, which runs from Chizhou Station to Huangshan North Station. The new main line is about 125 kilometers long and has a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

CTOnews.com learned that there are five stations in Chizhou, Jiuhuashan, Huangshan, Qixian East and Huangshan North, among which the Taiping Lake Bridge is a full-line control project.

The railway department said that when the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will become a golden tourism route connecting the core scenic spots of two mountains and one lake in southern Anhui (Jiuhua Mountain, Huangshan and Taiping Lake). It is of great significance to improve the layout of the regional railway network, speed up the construction of the international cultural tourism demonstration zone in southern Anhui, and promote coordinated economic and social development along the route.
