On the Jingxin Expressway, the PX3600G-NS snow throwing machine newly developed by Railway Construction heavy Industry of China Railway Construction is carrying out snow throwing operation to ensure the smooth flow of the road section.

According to reports, this section of Jingxin Expressway is located at the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain, with an annual snowfall cycle of up to seven months, with the characteristics of large snowfall at one time, high snowfall frequency and long duration of wind-blown snow. How to clean the wind-blown snow, thick snow and high-density snow quickly and safely has become a major difficulty in the maintenance of Jingxin Expressway.

CTOnews.com learned that in view of these technical problems, the newly developed snow throwing machine adopts a large-size winch device and a high-power snow throwing device, with a snow removal width of 2.6m, a snow removal height of 2.1m, a maximum snow throwing capacity of 3600 tons per hour and a maximum snow throwing distance of 45 meters.

Railway Construction heavy Industry said that the snow throwing machine can better adapt to the wind-blown snow and high-density snow. It has worked continuously for 18 hours and opened 140 kilometers of wind-blown snow roads, ensuring the smooth flow of the highway during the Spring Festival.
