CTOnews.com February 4 news, Ford Motor Company released its full-year results for 2022 on February 3. According to the data, Ford's revenue in the fourth quarter and full year of 2022 was $44 billion (currently about 297.88 billion yuan) and $158.1 billion (currently about 1.07 trillion yuan), respectively.

Ford said its fourth-quarter net income was $1.3 billion (currently about 8.801 billion yuan) and its full-year net loss was $2 billion (currently about 13.54 billion yuan). Adjusted earnings before interest and tax were $2.6 billion (currently about 17.602 billion yuan) and $10.4 billion (currently about 704.08 billion yuan), respectively, lower than expected Rising costs and production falling short of expectations caused by supply chain and production instability are the main reasons.

In addition, Ford's full-year operating cash flow for 2022 was $6.9 billion (currently about 46.713 billion yuan) and adjusted free cash flow for the full year was $9.1 billion (currently about 61.607 billion yuan). Ford said its balance sheet continued to perform strongly at the end of 2022, holding more than $32 billion (currently about 216.64 billion yuan) in cash and liquidity of $48 billion (currently about 324.96 billion yuan).

CTOnews.com learned that Ford announced in March 2022 that it would divide its existing single automotive business structure into three units around user experience: Ford Blue, Ford Model e and Ford Pro. Among them, Ford Blue is responsible for the company's iconic fuel and hybrid vehicle business; Ford Model e focuses on groundbreaking electric vehicle products; and Ford Pro operates Ford commercial vehicles and related service solutions.

Ford pointed out that in 2023, the three major business units have been officially operational, and the company will also announce its operating performance.
