CTOnews.com, February 4, LG today announced push updates for more than 200 smart TVs such as Seiki, Eco, Konka, Aiwa and Hyundai, adding support for Apple services such as Apple TV, Apple Music, AirPlay and HomeKit.

LG manufactures and sells smart TVs with an ecosystem of customized software called webOS. With webOS Hub, manufacturers can basically add a LG "brain" to their smart TVs.

LG has worked with a number of partners to push this update to give webOS Hub-enabled smart TVs access to many of Apple's core services. However, depending on the model, country and region, some televisions may not be available.

CTOnews.com learned that smart TVs that support webOS Hub can access Apple TV+ streaming services and watch many original content such as "Life cutting" through the Apple TV app. Users can also visit Apple Music to listen to music and so on.
