Volvo EX90 Reuters recently reported that Volvo is preparing to launch an "electric blitzkrieg" to convert all its major models into electric vehicles, including three SUV and two sedans, and launch a luxury electric van designed to boost sales in Asia. Volvo expects to launch at least six new all-electric vehicles by 2026. Volvo aims to be fully electric by 2030, and its Australian subsidiary says it plans to sell only electric cars in the market by 2026.

At CES 2023, the new Pure Electric flagship SUV Volvo EX90 was unveiled, with new cars on display at Luminar and Google booths respectively. It is expected to be available in early 2024.

Volvo EX90 is equipped with Luminar lidar technology, with a detection range of up to 600m, 250m under the condition of 10% reflectivity, and can even see tires as far as 120m.

CTOnews.com learned that Volvo's EX90 system uses Google's native Android. Volvo Automotive also launched Google HD Maps in conjunction with Google technology, and Volvo Automobile Group became the first car company to carry Google High-Precision Maps.
