CTOnews.com February 3 news, Tianfeng International analyst Guo Mingyi said today that investors are worried about the impact on existing orders and future new orders after Gale shares lose orders due to quality problems in AirPods Pro 2. However, the latest survey shows that investors are overly pessimistic about this.

Guo Mingyi pointed out that first of all, Gore is expected to resume production of AirPods Pro 2, which will help regain revenue and profit momentum. Second, orders for Gore AirPods 2, AirPods 3 and other parts have been determined not to be affected. Finally, Gore has received orders for HomePod mini 2 NPI and assembly, which are expected to be shipped in large quantities in 2H24.

CTOnews.com learned that on November 8 last year, Gale issued a risk warning notice that it had recently received a notice from a major overseas customer to suspend production of one of its intelligent acoustic machine products. As the three giants of the fruit chain, the orientation of "overseas big customers" is quite obvious, so as soon as the news comes out, it has aroused widespread concern. Then Guo Mingyi said through the investigation that Gale suspended production of Apple's AirPods Pro 2 headphones this time, and that the suspension was more likely due to production problems than demand problems. He also revealed that Lixun Precision filled the production gap.

On December 2, Gale shares issued a revised announcement on its annual performance forecast of 2022. It is estimated that the net profit belonging to shareholders of listed companies in 2022 will be 1.71 billion yuan to 2.137 billion yuan, down 50% from the same period last year. Previously, the net profit was expected to be 4.06 billion yuan to 4.7 billion yuan.

Last month, Guo Mingyi also said that according to the latest survey, Hongteng Precision (a subsidiary of Hon Hai Group) may replace Gore as the new assembler of AirPods and thus benefit significantly.

At present, Gore shares hit the daily limit, with a turnover of more than 4.8 billion yuan.
