CTOnews.com Feb. 3, Xbox official support page shows that the Xbox 360store will be closed, but Microsoft told The Verge that the store will not be closed.

Earlier this week, Microsoft said it would remove many games from the 360 store on February 7, which upset many players. A subsequent tweet on Wario64 showed a screenshot of Xbox's official support page saying that the company planned to close the Xbox 360market "next year" and encourage players to "buy 360games or DLC by May 2023". As of the time of publication of this article, you can still see this information on this page.

According to Bree Adams, global product marketing manager at Xbox, this is an error message: "this message is mispublished and we can confirm that the Xbox 360 market will not be closed in May 2023."

CTOnews.com learned that the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS electronics stores will be closed on March 27.
