CTOnews.com, Feb. 3-demand for the iPhone 14 Plus was so lower than expected that Apple had slashed orders for its related components. Ross Young, chief executive of DSCC, a screen supply chain consultancy, has recently reported that shipments of screen components for the iPhone 14 Plus have fallen to almost zero.

CTOnews.com learned from the charts shared by Young that the screen order mix for all iPhone 14 models was reasonable in November 2022, but screen orders for iPhone 14 Plus were close to zero in December last year and January this year.

The chart shows that a small number of iPhone 14 Plus screens will be shipped in February, indicating that Apple will replenish its iPhone 14 Plus inventory this month. The chart also shows that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max accounted for 75 per cent of December shipments and are expected to reach 80 per cent by the end of February.
