CTOnews.com, February 3 (Xinhua)-- an unsealed original iPhone was put on sale at LCG Auctions's auction on Thursday, and media Business Insider estimated the transaction price to be around $50000 (currently about 337000 yuan). The auction, which runs until February 19, has two bidders, with the latest price being $2750 (currently about 18535 yuan).

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the unopened iPhone came from Karen Green. When she held a management position at PetSmart in 2007, a friend gave her the unopened iPhone as a gift.

At that time, she mainly used three Verizon accounts, while the original iPhone only supported the AT&T network, so she did not open the package, but just collected it as a gift. Now she has decided to sell the iPhone in order to ease her financial pressure.

An unsealed original iPhone sold for $39340 in October 2022, so the iPhone sold for at least $30000.
