According to reports, the work is a sequel to Brave Heart: the Great War. Brave Heart: going Home is developed by the original core team of Ubisoft Montpellier in cooperation with Old Skull Games.

Ubisoft said "Brave Heart: going Home" will take players back to World War I, with ups and downs in narrative games about four characters' friendship, survival and sacrifice in the torrent of war.
