CTOnews.com, February 2, Microsoft has confirmed that it will no longer provide extended Security Update Program (ESU) support for Win7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 / R2 starting from January 2023. However, Microsoft pointed out in KB4522133 that users who renew their ESU or use Azure,Windows Server 2008 can get ESU support for the fourth year.

Mainstream support for Win7 SP1, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2 was discontinued on January 14, 2020. However, the above-mentioned users or companies can use ESU to pay for support, but ESU is only available for 3 years, and the fee will be increased annually.

In the support article KB4522133, Microsoft said that some older systems can still get ESU extension support for the fourth year. CTOnews.com comes with an available system version:
