CTOnews.com, February 2, Microsoft is currently testing a new feature in its Edge browser. This feature will allow the user to open the PWA (Progressive Web App) application directly from the address bar.

Leopeva64-2 recently found that if a user installs a website as an application on a device, Edge's suggested drop-down list in the address bar will provide a new option to allow the user to open the website in the application.

This feature is currently being tested in the Edge Canary channel. In addition to the new features, Canary users can also access the new "install applications" button in the address bar, which makes it easy to install Web applications quickly.

CTOnews.com learned that there were also recent revelations that Microsoft was working on a new Edge browser project called Phoenix Phoenix, as well as a new feature that allows users to split the tab card into two windows.
