CTOnews.com learned that on August 3, 2020, Evergrande released the first six models of Hengchi, achieving full coverage of the product line. In terms of new energy vehicle sales, the first batch production of the first product, Hengchi 5, began to be delivered on October 29, 2022, and more than 100 new cars were delivered as of December 7, 2022. Officials have said that within 15 days of the opening of the pre-sale of new cars, orders have exceeded 37000, and the actual delivery is a far cry from the predetermined amount.

According to Evergrande's plan, the first batch of 10,000 vehicles will be delivered by the first quarter of 2023. However, as of last month, Hengchi 5 has delivered a total of 324 cars in three months, which shows that it is difficult for Evergrande to reach the passing line of 10,000 vehicles within a short period of time.

According to Evergrande's annual report, Evergrande has lost more than 17 billion yuan in less than four years, including 1.429 billion yuan in 2018, 4.426 billion yuan in 2019, 7.394 billion yuan in 2020 and 4.787 billion yuan in the first half of 2021. Evergrande has not disclosed its annual report since then and has been suspended from trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
