ICTOnews.com, February 2 (Xinhua) Samsung plans to launch a 77-inch OLED TV and a 49-inch OLED game display in the first quarter of 2023, according to South Korean media The Elec. That means Samsung will launch at least three OLED TVs and two OLED monitors this year.

Samsung has unveiled 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch QD-OLED TVs and 34-inch and 49-inch QD-OLED game displays at CES 2023. Samsung launches these products around the brand "Samsung OLED".

Please note that the new 77-inch OLED TV and 49-inch OLED monitor will continue to use the QD-OLED panel provided by Samsung subsidiary Samsung Display. In fact, Samsung display (Samsung Display) refused to make 48-inch OLED panels for televisions, instead offering 49-inch panels.

CTOnews.com learned that this is because Samsung shows that it can produce two 77-inch panels and two 48-inch panels on a single Gen 8.5 substrate, or it can choose to produce two 77-inch panels and two 49-inch panels. From an economic point of view, Samsung shows a preference for 49 inches.
