CTOnews.com February 2 news, Valve today released the January 2023 Steam hardware and software survey report. From the operating system point of view, the proportion of Linux players has not changed, and the proportion of macOS players has increased by 0.13% compared with the previous month, and now stands at 2.61%.

CTOnews.com learned that Windows is still the most popular operating system for players, accounting for 96.02% of the list. However, in terms of subdivision, the share of 64-bit Win10 has decreased by 1.96% to 63.46%, while the share of 64-bit Win11 systems has increased by 1.91% to 30.33%.

The market share of 64-bit Win7 has decreased by 0.06%, while the market share of 1.60%. The share of 32-bit Win7 has remained unchanged, and the current total share of Win7 is 1.71%.

The popularity of the Linux system among players has not changed, at 1.38 per cent this month.
