CTOnews.com, February 2, Beijing Municipal Bureau of economy and Information Technology held a municipal economic and information work meeting on January 30, and put forward a target of 4% growth in industrial added value, 10.5% in revenue growth in software and information services, 6.5% in digital economic value added, and 10,000 new 5G base stations in 2023.

According to reports, in 2022, the Beijing Municipal regulations on the Promotion of Digital economy was issued, and the number of 5G base stations and the scale index of computing power ranked first in the country.

CTOnews.com learned that by the end of 2022, the total number of mobile communication base stations in China had reached 10.83 million. Among them, there are 2.312 million 5G base stations, and 887000 new 5G base stations were built in the whole year, accounting for 21.3% of the total number of mobile base stations.

In terms of telephone subscribers, in 2022, there was a net increase of 3933 telephone subscribers nationwide, bringing the total to 1.863 billion. Among them, the total number of mobile phone users was 1.683 billion; 5G mobile phone users reached 561 million, accounting for 33.3% of mobile phone users.
