CTOnews.com February 1, the game publisher Electronic Arts (EA) recently announced the termination of the development of "Apex Legends Mobile" and "Battlefield Mobile" games after reviewing player feedback.

Apex Legends Mobile was launched in May 2022, and EA said it would end operations on May 1, 2023.

EA said it will disable the purchase of apps in the "Apex Legends Mobile" game from 1: 00 p.m. est on January 31, and will remove the game from App Store. However, players can continue to use existing Syndicate Gold gold coins until May 1.

CTOnews.com learned that as for the reasons for the termination of development, EA and Respawn said the game did not seem to live up to players' expectations.

The company also abandoned the development of Battlefield Mobile, which never made it to Apple's App Store. Instead, the company plans to continue to develop Battlefield 2042 and future works of the series.
