Update content:

Restored a change to Windows font smoothing that resulted in poor rendering of some configurations (error 1803154)

Fixed jank when loading pages containing a large number of emoji characters (error 1809081)

Fixed an issue that caused authentication prompts not to appear when pages were loaded in some enterprise environments (error 1809151)

Fixed inconsistent size of event listener check boxes in developer inspection tools (error 1811760)

CTOnews.com learned that Firefox 109 mainly enabled default support for Manifest V3 extensions, while adding the "Unified extension" button.

Manifest V3 boasts better security, privacy, and browser performance, and will limit extended capabilities, especially those designed to monitor, modify, and interact between browsers and sites visited by users.

It is worth mentioning that one of the most controversial changes in Manifest V3 is the removal of Web Request API to support the new declarative network request API (Declarative Net Request API). Developers have criticized the change a lot because it deprives many extended features and reduces efficiency, represented by Google's Chrome browser. Firefox, on the other hand, chose to keep Web Request API while also supporting declarative web requests.
