AG600M, a large-scale fire fighting and water rescue amphibious aircraft independently developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (CTOnews.com), has completed its maiden flight and entered the test flight stage of model forensics in 2023.

▲ Tuyuan China Aviation Industry Group said that on the eve of the Spring Festival, two AG600M (1003, 1006) successfully transferred from Zhuhai and Yichang to Xi'an Yanliang, respectively, orderly opened the prelude to the scientific research flight test work in 2023, and promoted the AG600M to officially enter the flight test stage of model qualification, which took a solid step for obtaining the AG600M model certificate by the end of 2024.

CTOnews.com learned that in 2022, the aviation industry AG600 project successfully completed the "four three" annual goals of "three aircraft assembly, three aircraft first flight, three major types of tests, and three aircraft orders."

During the 2023 Spring Festival, the flight test center completed the test and refit of AG600M (1003) towing cones in Yanliang, and carried out scientific research flight test work in an all-round way. On January 27, a team from the flight test center arrived in Zhuhai and entered the tense test and modification work of AG600M (1007). In Xi'an, all kinds of static tests and R & D tests of AG600 aircraft have been started at the same time, flight test and test work have been on the right track, and AG600 development has been accelerated in an all-round way.
