CTOnews.com, January 31, when Google launched the PC version of Play Games, it enabled a new icon for the service. Google has now updated the Android version of Play Games to follow up on the new version of the icon.

Google has adjusted its apps in recent years to remove the word "Play" from its name. Google Play Music was replaced by YouTube Music, Play Newsstand became Google News,Play Movies and now Google TV. In the Play family of applications, there are now only Play Books and Play Games, as well as Play Store.

When Google announced the PC version of Play Games in 2021, it introduced a new flat, unshaded icon. When Google officially launched the PC version of Play Games last year, it enabled a new version of the icon to see the game handle inside the triangle.

CTOnews.com learned that the icon is now available on Android version 2023.01.40470. Of course, it is placed in a white circle. The user sees it at the top of the application launcher and the Home tab. No other changes have been found in the new version so far.
