Recently, the Russian media Elbrus PC Play has tested the game performance of the Elbrus 8SV, with the Elbrus OS 7.1system based on Linux 5.4, as well as 32GB DDR4 memory and AMD generation classic RX 580graphics cards.

Tests show that when the processor is running old games such as Stalker: Pripyat's call, Scroll 3 and Morning Wind, the frame number of Scroll 3 fluctuates from 30FPS to 60FPS in outdoor scenes and up to 200FPS in indoor scenes, while the two Stalker games have only 30FPS at most, and there is still a lot of room for improvement.

CTOnews.com learned that the next generation Elbrus 16C of the Elbrus series is under development. The chip uses 16nm process nodes, 16 CPU cores and faster clock rates of 2GHz, and also supports 8-channel memory and 32 PCIe 3.0channels. Single / double precision computing power can reach 1500 GFLOP and 750GFLOP, 1.6 times higher than Elbrus 8SV.
