At the same time, combined with the low temperature test, the test group also carried out a number of research tests on the low temperature charge and discharge performance of the power battery, the low temperature charging protection logic and thermal guarantee heating capacity of the lithium iron phosphate battery, the heating performance of the air conditioner at low temperature and the temperature rise rate of the cab, etc. a large number of valuable test data have been collected for the low temperature operation of hybrid locomotives.

In order to fully verify the performance of the locomotive, the test needs to fully verify the two kinds of converter cabinets, four kinds of battery systems and two battery thermal protection systems installed on the two locomotives, and the relevant teams have completed various low temperature test tasks with high quality. the complete vehicle test of the locomotive will be completed in 2023.
