According to CTOnews.com, JD.com first started business in Indonesia in November 2015 and is already one of the country's largest e-commerce platforms, offering Indonesian users a range of products ranging from mother and child products, smartphones and electronic devices to luxury goods. Officials say they have 12 categories.

JD.com said JD.ID 's business is growing rapidly, with the number of products available growing rapidly from less than 10000 SKU in 2015 to about 100000 SKU by the end of 2016.
