Beidou has been used to empower agricultural production in Shunyi District of Beijing in recent years, improving production efficiency and output, according to the official China Beidou satellite navigation system. According to reports, local agricultural machinery service professional cooperatives and some farmers have installed operation monitoring terminals and agricultural machinery driving terminals based on Beidou, encouraging farmers to use high-tech equipment with high scientific and technological content and strong practicability. All kinds of agricultural machinery based on Beidou can carry out intelligent precision sowing of grain, realizing high-efficiency, high-precision, and high-quality agricultural production activities.

Data show that there are currently more than 240 local agricultural machinery based on Beidou. A cooperative worker said that in 2022, the average yield of wheat and corn per mu reached 1100 jin and 1200 jin, respectively, and the grain output and the income of members increased.
